Shayan Truck Timeline
Shayan Company was established in 1969 by Haj Ali Akbar Shayan. He was born in 1946 in the city of Tafresh and emigrated to Tehran at the age of nine.
At first, he worked in a shoe store, but because his father had a blacksmith job in Tafresh and his interest was in blacksmithing, he worked as a blacksmith apprentice at the age of 13 and in Asghar Ghandchi’s workshop at the age of 17. (Father of Iran Truck Manufacturing 1928 – 2019) They forged bus and minibus rooms. During this time, he gained valuable experience.
Before the Islamic Revolution of Iran
At the age of 23, Haj Ali Akbar Shayan established his first workshop on Khavaran Road in the Asgarabad neighbourhood.
He starts in a bus room garage and with basic facilities such as manual drilling-welding but with perseverance and hard-working as the first leaders in this industry; They continued working.
After the Islamic Revolution of Iran
After the Islamic Revolution and the start of the imposed war, due to the country’s need to build various rooms such as vans, ambulances, army jeeps and…, our company developed, and
we moved to Javadi Passage located in the Gomrok.
After imposed war
After the imposed war and at the beginning of the country’s Rebuilding period, room construction developed.
A short time later, the domestic construction market flourished, and with Haj Ali Akbar Shayan’s efforts, a cooperative of bus and minibus manufacturers was established.
Relocation and diversification of products
In 1999, Shayan Company relocated to a more extensive workshop in Yaftabad. Then we added Fiat Mini Bar, Oiko, Benz Khavar’s rooms to the products. Haj Ali Akbar Shayan’s sons have started to work with him since 2001.
Expanding the activities of company
In 2009, due to the development of Shayan products, Company moved to the RobatKarim area (Adran highway) and started a new season in an area of 6000 square meters. In this place, the truck room construction began.
Unfortunately, in 2011, Haj Agha Shayan was diagnosed with cancer, and after a year of treatment in 2012, he left the Company.
Despite many problems and the absence of a father, the sons continued their way and kept the factory afloat.
Cooperation with large companies
In recent years, Mr Siamak Shayan has accepted the responsibility of Shayan Group, and according to his knowledge of science and experience, has a strategic approach to the future of the company.
He has contracted with companies such as Ofogh Kourosh chain stores, Dinagaster Alborz, Erike Dorna and AlborzPlour mineral water by using various consultants and 50-year-old experience remained by his father.
He has tried to take steps forward in upgrading the country’s transportation industry, and this path will continue.
